The Saucon Valley School District is seeking applications for a Long Term Substitute Music Education teacher effective immediately. This position may provide instruction on various music topics to students in grades 5 through 12.

 

As part of a team of music educators, this position supports the overall music program of the District.  The successful candidate will possess strong presentation and organizational skills, demonstrate an outstanding ability to engage all students in learning, utilize best practices for music instruction, including competent instrumental skills, exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a strong understanding of technology.  

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Certification in:

•     Pennsylvania Certification –  Music Education PK-12

 

Minimum Requirements:

•     Current Act 34, 151 and 114
•     Prior experience working within a school system preferred
